passion.jpgHello, and welcome to my new Portfolio Web Site. I hope you will enjoy looking through some of my art. My goal is to share, inspire, and maybe even lucky enough to sell some of my art. If you haven't looked through my art yet, I would like to share a little bit of information about myself.

I was born August 25, 1980 in Weisbaden, Germany. I am technically an American citizen since I was born to American parents on an Air Force base. After moving back to the states, I was home-schooled until the 8th grade, which I finished high school in public school. I was in advance placement in high school, where I was exposed to many different mediums. From watercolor and colored pencil, to sculpture and charcoal, I had lots of practice in each. Probably my proudest moment came when I won a $1000 scholarship for my colored pencil drawing of a toucan which is currently in the gallery.

In my one semester of college where I attended TCJC which is now Tarrant County College, I took a painting class. At first, I didnt know much about the medium. My main strength was drawing. I wanted to draw with a paintbrush instead of pencil. My professor saw this, and taught me to loosen up my technique by blindfolding me and handed me a brush. I can't thank him enough for helping me to branch out in my abilities.
